The Project – Hope for Ukraine.
Hold Out Your Hand is a song written by Melody Reed and the children from Tranmere Park Primary School. This beautiful song is being shared around the world to promote hope for Ukrainian families.
We would love it if you could learn it, sing it, record it and share, share, SHARE!
The aim of this project is not only to raise money and hope for Ukrainian families, but also to help children everywhere to understand the events happening in Ukraine, and to help them to do something positive around something so barbaric.
We've sung it at Tranmere Park Primary School and a fundraising beer festival!
The children were invited to perform Hold Out Your Hand on 18th June at a very special fundraising event being held by Christa Ackroyd in Halifax. They opened the show with our song!!
On 24th March some of our children went on BCB Radio with host Jo Jo, to talk about their mission and play the song.
Other schools local to Tranmere Park have been learning and performing our song, thank you St Oswald’s Primary!
Even our little Monkey See Monkey Do’s got involved in a Hope for Ukraine fundraiser day, wearing blue and yellow and singing our song.

So far we’ve helped to raise over £2,000 for charities supporting Ukraine, which is a fantastic achievement!
